Adaptive pruning for skippers is merged and at least in the small scale 
benchmarks that Ben put together last week has fixed the problem.  Thanks for 
your patience everyone.

I’m going to try and build something that our nightly benchmarks can run that 
will exercise sorting and pruning using skippers more comprehensively.
