I would put it in trunk and probably the 3.0.3 branch for people who want to
experiment with it on a (more) stable branch, but I wouldn't release it. I
think that if there's a desire for this from the community that it be worked on
and improved. However, until we've updated it, added tests, and (possibly)
updated the design, it should be source only for now.
