Just applied the patch on Solr 4.1 and it runs fine for basic scoring and
ranking searches using the default CollectorFactory.
As Greg mentioned, tests will fail because it expects solrconfig.xml to have a
default collectorFactory defined. Code will have to be added to make it
gracefully use the default collectorfactory if it's undefined in solrconfig.xml.
So the patch is ready to be played with.
