Yeah, that was my main thrust I guess - does anyone object to moving to newer releases in the near term. I did have some faint memory about issues with an early 1.9 version, which is part of why I sent this email. But now that 1.9 has had a few releases, it would be great to allow a move to it at some point. Ubuntu recently did by default it seems, and at some point it just becomes a hassle having to try and run a lower version when 1.9 is starting to become the default.
It didn't really make since to do something like that for 4.5.1, so I just used 1.8.4 to build it. The smoke tester seems to be happy with any 1.8 version. - Mark On Oct 18, 2013, at 9:23 AM, Robert Muir <[email protected]> wrote: > It doesnt have to stay that way either: i think supporting ant 1.9 is > just a matter of installing it on some jenkins servers so we know it > works. > > On Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 7:15 AM, Dawid Weiss > <[email protected]> wrote: >> Ok, thanks.
