Stefan, Unable to checkout https://archive.apache.org/dist/lucenenet/ using SVN. I get the error "Redirect cycle detected for URL https://archive.apache.org/dist/lucenenet".
I take it the procedure is: 1. Move 3.0.3 to https://archive.apache.org/dist/lucenenet. 2. Move 4.8.0-beta00001 to https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/. 3. Remove 4.8.0-beta00001 from https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/, and replace with 4.8.0-beta00002, start the vote. I am blocked on the first step, but I can do the others in the meantime. Here is a project with a folder per version: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/shiro/ And here is what it looks like in one lump: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/tapestry/ It seems to me the folder per version is cleaner. And I am with Itamar - we will probably be releasing quite frequently until this is stable. I noticed that 3.0.3 > wasn't done this way as some other projects have. We are expected to remove old releases from dist.apache.org a few days after a new release is available. The only place where more than one release would be visible for a longer time will be https://archive.apache.org/dist/lucenenet/ I'm on the fence WRT to creating subdirectories in there or not, it may get crowded without additional structure.
