Checksums and signature OK. Verified that the tarball matches commit e6cf0653c66a759cca36ee8a35b19efa7ab5f051.

Compiler and runtime tested successfully under:

Solaris 11.2
    C build
        gcc 4.8.2, 32 bit
        gcc 4.8.2, 64 bit
        Sun C 5.12, 32 bit
        Sun C 5.12, 64 bit
    Perl build
        Perl 5.12.5, Sun C 5.12, 32 bit (+ valgrind)

Ubuntu 14.04, 32 bit
    C build
        gcc 4.8.2
    Perl build
        Perl 5.18.2, gcc 4.8.2 (+ valgrind)

Installation to a custom directory was tested for every build.

The LICENSE contains a notice about the install-sh script from GNU autotools which we don't bundle anymore. The C bindings originally used autoconf but this was replaced by our own build system. (The new install.sh scripts are not from autoconf.)

The notice about the Unicode data files in LICENSE also doesn't apply to Clownfish, but I don't think that these issues are a release blocker.
