Ok, as a compromise, if you remove the generation stuff I can support 
implementation of an experimental, radius-based, outlier filter in Canopy 
classification. If it seems useful after some period of evaluation, then we can 
generalize it and extend it to the other clustering classification steps. With 
at patch of that nature, I could become an advocate.
