Hey, Just talked to Joe Olson offline, wanted to loop back to the list with notes:
1. He's working on a Spark + Mahout Docker image - I told him to open a PR asap. 2. Long term goal for this Spark + Mahout image is to be deployable in K8s, he's doing some research to see what the status of Spark + K8s is. (that's another pr later) 3. Later he's going to work on (and I'm going to help him) a Zeppelin Docker + Mahout image (pre loaded, unlike that janky Py script I wrote to set it up for Zeppelin 0.7). In theory we could also do (or should do instead) Jupyter, bc they have a (poorly) supported Scala interpreter as well.
