David Morana commented on CONNECTORS-579:
-----------------------------------------

Ok, I have too many competing builds.
I'm deleting the old ones and rebuilding the latest trunk just to be on the
safe side.
It's working after a fashion; here's the log (minus server info)
INFO 2012-12-12 13:54:20,943 (Worker thread '7') - RSS: FETCH Data|https://
443/cal/main/setViewPeriod.do?b=de&viewType=yearView|1355338457936+3007|200|74117|
DEBUG 2012-12-12 13:54:20,943 (Worker thread '7') - RSS: Processing
'https://:443/cal/main/setViewPeriod.do?b=de&viewType=yearView'
DEBUG 2012-12-12 13:54:20,943 (Worker thread '7') - RSS: Interpreting
document:443/cal/main/setViewPeriod.do?b=de&viewType=yearView' as a feed
DEBUG 2012-12-12 13:54:21,099 (Worker thread '7') - RSS: XML document
'https://:443/cal/main/setViewPeriod.do?b=de&viewType=yearView' was
unparseable (XML parse error: Premature end of file.), skipping
DEBUG 2012-12-12 13:54:21,099 (Worker thread '7') - RSS: In RSS document
'https://:443/cal/main/setViewPeriod.do?b=de&viewType=yearView' setting
default rescan time to 1355342061099
DEBUG 2012-12-12 13:54:21,099 (Worker thread '7') - RSS: Extraction of feed
'https://:443/cal/main/setViewPeriod.do?b=de&viewType=yearView' complete

No data is getting into the index but that's hopefully a schema issue...
either that or it's the feed itself...

Was yours working?

> The RSS has never needed SSL support before. But there are some sites that
> serve up everything through SSL. There's no need for host verification etc,
> but a simple "allow everything" approach might well be useful.
