Karl Wright commented on CONNECTORS-914:
----------------------------------------

Hi Ahmet,

A couple of points.

First, I don't think we should re-release the Solr plugins prior to 1.6 being
released. There's no technical need to do that, do you agree?

Second, both READMEs are currently up-to-date and have useful content. The
top-level README describes how to build the plugin. The second contains
instructions as to how to use the plugin. The top-level information would no
longer be accurate if Maven is used as a build engine. The lower level
information would need to be included in the revised top-level README.

I'd suggest the following:
(1) Start with the ElasticSearch README, which only has build instructions, and
take the parts from there that describe licensing and how to build the artifact.
(2) Merge in the README information from mcf/README.txt.
