Karl Wright commented on CONNECTORS-1035:
-----------------------------------------

Hi Paul,

For MCF 2.0, we changed the classloader setup quite a bit, so I would be very
surprised if this still failed on that platform. But I would very much like to
know if I am correct about that. If you are willing to experiment, please
download the MCF 2.0 release candidate from
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/manifoldcf/apache-manifoldcf-2.0 and see
if it works for you. Please be very careful to ONLY use the local HSQLDB
database, since there is no upgrade path from MCF 1.x to MCF 2.0.

If that works, then we'll need to decide what to do in dev_1x. The older
Alfresco connector is deprecated in any case, because we have a new Alfresco
webscript connector with document security now. But we're currently voting on
MCF 2.0, so if the old Alfresco connector by some chance still does not work,
we'd want to know about that.

Thanks,
Karl

> After upgrading from manifoldCF 1.6.1 to 1.7 the repo connector says:
> ERROR:
> Caused by: org.apache.axis.ConfigurationException:
> java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.alfresco.webservice.util.CookieHandler
> The jar of alfresco (4.1.2 previously working with MCF 1.6.1) is present in
> the connectors-lib-proprietary and defined in the connectors.xml.
> We are using the combined war.
