Paul Moran commented on CONNECTORS-1035:
----------------------------------------

I downloaded 2.0 and 1.8 and I had some success.

By using start-combined.bat, the alfresco connector worked in 2.0. I got the
above error in 1.7.2 so it looks like the error has been resolved.

I was unable to test thoroughly though. When I deployed the combined war file
to tomcat, and used start-database.bat to start the local HSQLDB, I didn't get
very far. As soon as I create a solr output connection and try to save, it
freezes. I downloaded 1.8 and the same thing happened. I turned debug on in
logging.ini but there's nothing to indicate what's wrong either in the
manifold.log or the catalina.log file.

> After upgrading from manifoldCF 1.6.1 to 1.7 the repo connector says:
> ERROR:
> Caused by: org.apache.axis.ConfigurationException:
> java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.alfresco.webservice.util.CookieHandler
> The jar of alfresco (4.1.2 previously working with MCF 1.6.1) is present in
> the connectors-lib-proprietary and defined in the connectors.xml.
> We are using the combined war.
> Best
