colin commented on CONNECTORS-1119:
-----------------------------------
My thoughts would be to include the status in the title e.g. success / failure
/ Paused / aborted - this status can then be easily used by an ops team to
determine if the job was successful or needs investigation.
Continuous JOB:
- Success - As this runs continuously there is no real concept of success
- Failure - The job stops because of an error scenario
- Paused - The job was paused
- Aborted - The job was aborted by the user
Stand-alone job:
- Success - All items were processed successfully
- Failure - The job stops because of an error scenario
- Paused - The job was paused
- Aborted - The job was aborted by the user

> Currently the status of jobs can be checked via the rest API or the crawler
> ui.
> However there doesn't appear to be a way to send alerts based on jobs
> completing successfully or otherwise.
> Is there some way of adding an e-mail distribution I may have missed? or is
> it a matter of overriding the noteJobComplete method in the output connector?
