I have just completed the porting in the latest 2.8-trunk and I have also added
an initial implementation of integration tests (r1800083).
We need to do some debugging for integration tests and add the documentation
for this new connector.
I think that I need also some help for the labels added in different languages,
probably the new one is the label related to the creation of the timestamp tree
(Create Timestamp Tree).
Tomorrow I hope to complete this first iteration.
