We are officially pushing the X11 and make it available on our
archipelago of mrirros.  We leave it to the Mac team to push the product
it favors.  If someone asks, What about OOo on the Mac? I usually
respond by promotint the X11 build, mention the active development and
support, and then finish by mentioning that an excellent derivative,
Neo/J, also works well.  There are many who actually prefer the X11
port--it's pretty good!  

Neo/J is not available from our archipelago of mirrors; it is a derived
product.  But it is also very good, and offers Mac users a more familiar
environment and is easier to install.  But it is not an OOo product.

I hope that is a (laughably) "straight" answer for you :-)

PS: How do we (I) refer to other derivatives?  I think we ought to list
derived products, with those that are contributing back to us on a
partners page and those that are not without comment.
