Hallo Alexandro,

I tend to disagree, for a web manager I tend to miss the functionality
of a CMS site where people has the freedom to get their news through
RSS or participate in forums and post images and things that they
contribute back.

I miss these things too and it's not about missing sites only. It's about not so good extensions / skins management in the OO.o. Getting back these words ;-) These things are easy, but you have to be a good developer, because of missing docs, ... Maybe this should be a part of the new site too.

I'm afraid that if we will put all these info on one site, it will
  be another *.openoffice.org.

I think that we should divide all these things in two parts:

    - simple, easy, fast loading promotion site
(spreadopenoffice.org) - the goal of this site is to tell people
about OpenOffice.org, about all possibilities (links, ...) and
that's all, no users activity on this site at all

    - next site should contain remaining things - documentation how to
write extensions, how to change skin of OO.o, directory of ready
to go extensions, ... - read discuss@ ML, you'll see lot of
ideas and comments from Daniel about this - IOW - end-users
      collaboration corner

Cheers,
Robert
