I'd like to pass on the thanks of the entire OpenOffice.org community to
the organisers of (in my opinion) the best-ever OOoConf. No-one was more
surprised than Urska, Robert, and Davide when Koper was selected by the
community as the venue for OOoConf 2005. It was an inspired choice, and
the team have put in a tremendous personal effort to make OOoConf a real
community occasion. We could not have been better looked after or more
warmly welcomed.

Like other attendees, I will be going home with fond memories of Slovenia
and with renewed enthusiasm, inspired by the activities of the great
people from around the world whose activites are reported at OOoConf. For
those who couldn't be there, please check out the presentations on the
conference web site, http://ooocon.kiberpipa.org - created by an amazing
team of people from Cyberpipe who eat, sleep, breathe, and live
open-source.

So, there are now two challenges for the Marketing Project:

- make the launch of 2.0 the greatest ever
- start thinking about how your team could host OOoConf 2006!

John
