In recent weeks ad hominem attacks have occurred on other OpenOffice.org community lists, and just recently here. This is to advise there will be zero tolerance of any future posts such as these. Offending subscribers will be unsubscribed without notice.
Previously I sent out information about various email lists of interest to marketing. This message is to remind people about our "Mailing Lists - Guidelines", see: http://www.openoffice.org/ml_guidelines.html Please, in any discourse, tackle the topic under discussion or consideration, not the person. And: "I'm not a big fan of really strict posting rules, so I've created a set of 2 (yes, two) posting guidelines. They're quite simple: * Be polite. * Be helpful. You're bright people. Extrapolate. " -- LinuxChix Some of you may be unaware that people that post to this list (among others) are not subscribed. Or maybe it's their first time having found a list that they think is most appropriate for their message - not always an easy task. Many more are not subscribed and read this using newsgroups such as Gmane. Please remember that we are all *real* people on the other end of these keyboards.
