Maybe it is time for another round of negotiations with OEMs. Or maybe
non-MS vendors can make a concerted effort to bring MS' OEM agreements
inot the daylight.
Also, Apple just signed a deal with MS. So either the pressure is off for
a few years and we can work on Apple into getting a native version of OOo
or StarOffice bundled, or else publish the clause which prohibits Apple
from working with non-MS suites (should it exist).

Software patents endanger the legal certainty of software.
Keep them out of the EU by writing your MEP, keep the market open.

But what is SUN looking into about perhaps having open office installed
on Compaq and like PC's?
