Erwin, Hirano, Florian or myself will include something in the newsletter. In the mean time, what Eric is talking about is not that he has managed to release OOo on MacTel but that so far the porting is doing much better than expected since he managed to compile a temporary build of the specific mac version (Aqua) on the MacTel platform. So what can be done is to "pollute the waves" and get cocky and noisy in front of Microsoft; nothing more than that though, as the public is not interested to know that a developper, as skilled as he can be, has managed to do this with a temporary build. The public wants a release (even a beta), not a wild set of binaries, as this may be its perception.
