I responded to that earlier in the thread.
It is not possible to use it as a main site for serving all that MP has to offer. It is not one of the powerfull machines hosted at Collab Net and it has it's own limited resources.

My mistake, you did say that. Do you know exactly what resources that site has? I'll see if I can figure out what we can get out of them.

Therefore it is *wiser* to have a bit more cautious approach or we might have problems sooner or later if we move everything in it and serve all the materials directly from there.

BUT: It is a start (and it can be a HUGE one if we *really* want this) in improving the Marketing activities and we *should* take this chance and improve the project by starting to use the wiki as a MP developer/contributor site for now.

Sounds like a good plan. Start small and if the site seems to be coping, then try a little more.

MEANTIME, the CN server can continue to do the serving for huge amounts of data. We do not know the limitations of the wiki machine. Let's not discover them in a bad way too soon.

MediaWiki is a good product. It can give you a powerful site with relatively modest resources. If you can tell me what resources we have, I will talk to the MediaWiki team and figure out what we can expect.

Cheers,
Daniel.
