I like the comments on that issue. A few remarks from a bystander: - If you want to do this yourself, take ownership of the issue - If you want anyone to do this for you, you should provide arguments why this is needed and in which way you are negatively affected by the mere existence of the easter eggs. - The other issue you mention never reached the core developers working on calc, but the submitter also failed to present convincing arguments why that should be considered a defect. - I'm not sure there is anyone who can claim with confidence to know all the easter eggs that exist in OOo, nor would a single person be responsible for all of them. To get them all removed you probably need to find them all and submit a (sub-)issue for each one.
But in any case the first thing you need to provide is an answer to the question: "What's the problem?" FWIW, I have the impression that we have less easter eggs today than in older StarOffice versions. That suggests that easter eggs that cause too much maintenance effort are removed occasionally.
