just another idea:

why don't we use a general category "Marketing" like these ones?
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Special:Categories

If we start every page by [[Category:Marketing]]
it will be listed automatically on the category page.

Seaching for short terms (less than 4 letters I think) is not possible, that's
why "smp" was not found IMHO

But I think, every new marketing page should shortly be announced here.

With the category link this is done automatically.

For brainstorming, general discussions and first drafts the incubator seems to
me to be the best place.

But if someone wants to create a wiki page on a not already mentioned marketing
theme, he/she could start doing it - provided two facts:

1. It follows the conventions we are going to agree upon
   Title "Marketing--[Name of page]"
first entry "[[Category:Marketing]]" (if you would agree on it - otherwise
the Marketing--Index page has to be edited too)
content some kind of ready to present (I don't like page drafts where you
are not able to find out what the author wants to say)

2. Post a link to the new page here on [EMAIL PROTECTED] - if the list wants to
discuss the topic more deeply before it is presented as "official" marketing
page, move it to incubator.

I'd use it for drafts and controversal discussed topics only (I'm quite sure,
that all wiki authors will be aware that they represent OpenOffice.org to the
"world outside" - much more than on this list)

Or the [[Category:Marketing]] as index.

Here you are ;-)
