Funny, I thought it was the Japanese community who came up with that
idea. They organized a contest inside the NLC and names chosen were
names of cities worlwide. It was implemented and then abandoned. I never
saw you do anything in this sense.
Nope, it was my idea, and I did most of the work. Ask Hirano from the
Japanese community. You might be confused by the fact that they got
the last codename. But if you look at the archives, you'll see that it
was me. For example, you'll see that I wrote the voting software, and
I hosted it on my personal website (because I couldn't host it on the
OOo website) and that I was criticized because the system I setup to
ensure people didn't vote twice had some problems. Does any of that
ring a bell? Check the archives, ask Hirano.
Cheers,
Daniel.
Hello my fellow posters,
I think that in the end, it was abandoned... can we abandone the
discussion about who did it and why they did it and on which planet it
was illustriously conceived?
If I may, I'd like to suggest that we stick to the subject and not
anything else...
We could, however, create a new list called: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and another called: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or probably:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] would work too...
Should we hire a psychotherapist to help us dealing with the past? I
prefer not.
Thanks for understanding that I really would like to contribute to
marketing for OOo.
