Hi Jean ?

This probably isn't the right list for this topic, but perhaps someone
can answer my question, direct me to the right place, or just take care
of the problem.
The Books section of this page http://support.openoffice.org/
is very out of date, as it includes none of the third-party books on
OOo2.0.
One list for website problems and development is
[email protected] (subscribe with
[EMAIL PROTECTED])
I decided to file an issue to provide a list of the new books that
should be included on the page. However, I could find no choices in the
(otherwise improved) Issue Tracker pages for anything to do with the
website itself... or else it's hidden under a heading that I don't
recognise. I couldn't even find it through "the classical way", but I'm
not sure what I should be choosing... www, perhaps?
Yes.
So... how do I file an issue to change that page? Or is there some other
way I should provide this information?
For filing the issue, the component is website and after you login you
go to this address:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi?component=website&issue_type=TASK
I summed up this URL for you, using the instructions we have created for
filing an issue in the Art project a long while ago. More instructions
are here...starting with point 6. (6. How do I file an Issue inside the
Art project ?)

It's incredibly frustrating to want to contribute but have to spend so
much effort to figure out how! I could have changed the page myself in
half the time I've spent on this... if I had write access.
Recently we started using a wiki, which right now is down for some
changes, so it is not of much help in doing this.
We are still under the same problem with accessing the website but
hopefully with the wiki we could have edits inside the wiki and
uploading the pages once finished to the website.
If you would've wanted to maintain that page, I would've recommended
maintaining the text in the wiki as it is easier.
For now, write on the [email protected] and file also an issue
as above.
Oh... I might as well put in here the list of books, in case someone
reading this can take care of it.
