Hi all,
Here are some to-do's for people who want to help with doing
marketing for the project (not just the application or the
OpenDocument format).
Both the location and the dates for the next OpenOffice.org
conference are fixed. What needs to happen now - in close
collaboration with the French conference team (!!!) - is ...
... getting the Call for Papers (CFP) out (mailing lists,
press release, etc.) very quickly!!!
... putting the CFP on the web, again very quickly!!!
... putting together web pages about the conference
location, etc.
... contacting potential sponsors that the conference
team has and will not approach anyway (this should
be coordinated so that companies don't get approached
by ten different people!)
... assisting the French conference team where possible
or necessary
People who are seriously interested in helping and
supporting the French conference team should subscribe
to the [email protected] list and
express their willingness to help on that list!
