I like it in the way you did it - just two minor ideas:
What do you think of a "Download" button on the screen shot of
OpenOffice.org (like you did for the alternative programs at the end
of the page)?
DRAW is a vector based graphic program with all of its advantages.
You tell about manipulating objects in two or three dimensions, but
if you could mention that objects are scalable it could be easier to
understand.
Others may have other ideas - that's just what came to my mind...
