Hi All, my name is Gabri I have just joined the marketing mailing list. I am from Italy and have been leaving in England for 8 years. I have been in the IT industry for 15 years in various roles. First as a designer and developer of educational software then as Software Engineer specialised in Java. I came across OpenOffice.org few years ago at the JavaOne conference in San Francisco. At the time I was working on document analysis and I was interested in the possibility of interfacing OpenOffice.org with the project I was working on.
In January 2006 I decided to form my own software company and came across few people who were seeking alternative to Microsoft products and there I found myself talking about OpenOffice.org and convincing people to use it. I am still new to it therefore I will be spending some times learning more about it in the main time I would be happy to promote it through my website http://www.genomiadesigns.com.
