I have certainly learned some things about the OOo OS X development processes that I did not know before! And I want to be fair and respectful to all the developers who donate their time and talents to this important project.

To answer Adam's question, I am not a formal representative for OpenOffice.org in any way, but I have been volunteering and following the marketing project for over three years now. My intention is exactly as he guessed--to help spread the OOo name and brand without spending any of its resources. If I end up collecting extra money, my plan is to run additional ads. Beyond that, I want to donate it to the project.

Thanks, and I hope to have a status update within a few more days.

Hi,

Again I ask you to respect our work, and stop the provocation :
NeoOffice is something else, refuses to contribute for
OopenOffice.org project, and has even destructive behaviour against
our work.

Now now Eric don't bend the truth. They have contributed code here:

What they do refuse to do is help with your current effort as they feel it is the wrong direction. If you don't like that, that's your choice. But according to the last few posts that you have made I understand why they
don't want to work with you.

That said I don't know if OOo marketing should include outside
organizations, it could get a little hairy when choosing one over another.
That said I don't know if Mr. Horst is an official rep of OOo marketing
(marcon, lead, co-lead etc.) And if this is something someone wants to do on their own dime then I don't see why we shouldn't support it. If nothing
else then it helps to get our name out there.
