Greetings!

My name is Steven Youell and after several years of doing all kinds of
different things,

I've decided to transition to a freelance writing career.

Now I've researched this for at least six months and I'm fairly certain it
could be done

entirely on Free Software. I've used Linux (on and off) since Red Hat 6.2
and even have

experience in Unix Tech Support, so I'm not a total newbie. (But I won't be
writing any

Perl Scripts.).

My idea is to start a blog that documents the fact that a SOHO can be run
entirely on

Free Software. AND that a freelance writer can have success using only OOo.

HOWEVER- my research indicates that most of the people that will be paying
me to

write will require Word Documents. Therefore I would like to see if you
would be interested

in a joint venture: I'll do the work and the blog which will help promote
OOo. But if I run

into compatibility issues, I'd like your tech people to help me sort them
out.

This will not only promote OOo, it should give you a fair amount of data
that you can use

to improve what is already an excellent program.

What say you-would you like to have OpenOffice.org be the program of choice
for

Freelance Writers everywhere?

Steven Youell
