I thought that maybe I should say something here.
although this came in Thursday at about 4:00 pm I just now was able to
get the message.
I normally read my messages at work, where I have a little more time to
do that.
Most of the messages I get in regard to questions about OOo I normally
get via email not off the mailing list.
So I missed this one til now.
This is one that I probably would let Louis or John handle as it seems
to maybe be a nationwide item (ABC Radio).
Most of the messages I recieve have a lot to do with people giving
presentations at schools and they are in need of help
with materials.
I very seldom get request for interviews or quotes as most of the local
papers have nothing about the project. or they pick
up their stories from the national media which seem to have quotes from
Louis or John or someone else higher up the food chain at OOo.
I also try to get the news people around me to pick something up and run
a story. this is not that easy to do, most feel they are just
advertising for a company if they do a story.
If I should be doing something different I would appreciate some
feedback on it.
I do apologize for not getting the original message in a timely manner.
I will not make excuses for it.
