I'm not so sure that Gates or any other politician or marketeer would be an appropriate source for training estimates or any other information about the product:

1)
"Power users can probably worm their way through, though
there are enough advanced features that they'll almost certainly
screw something up without proper documentation.
        ...
But average users will be lost if confronted with these
screens out of the blue, and you'll wind up with a help desk
nightmare. Moreover, it's easy to see that this version is
going to impact even network and desktop administrators in a
        big way."

"The changes in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint aren't worth the
        money."

3)
"The company has not said exactly how it will lock down
documents, but it has said that is a goal. Microsoft has
been widely expected to introduce new server products in
        conjunction with Office 12."

4)
"To use IRM {DRM} features, businesses will need a server
running Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 operating system
and Windows Rights Management Services software. The
server software will record permission rules set by the
document creator, such as other people authorized to view
the document and expiration dates for any permissions.
When another person receives that document, they briefly
log in to the Windows Rights Management server--over the
Internet or a corporate network--to validate the
        permissions."

Out of curiosity does the EULA, like the FrontPage EULA, prohibit publication of evaluations?

I've heard a number of people say that Bill Gates (or Steve Balmer?) has

quote?

Thanks - John

Wow you mean that is not worth to buy a MS office 2007 book? trainning? or whatever scheme to support the 'new' office. That sounds rather odd.
