The localisation of office suite doesnot means only changing the menus name into respective langauage but there certian issues to be sorted out. As you know now Indian languages are available in Unicode Character Set. But the problem in using unicode characters are that the typewriter layout are not available in most of the cases. So Government Sector, Big Institutions started buying the Microsoft Office Suites which comes with the facility of typewriter layout for unicode characters.
Could you tell me which languages / dialects are meant by this? Does 'unicode layout' mean keybaord layout? Does the layout you mention come with the office suite or the operating system? Could you tell us a little more about the scripts and keyboard layouts used for Indic scripts and Languages? Thanks.
