Ok. But can you send me some contact information so I can at least ask
for Vorbis? I'm not saying he should stop providing MP3, it's
currently a necessary evil. However, it would be a prominent vote for
open formats by providing the same audio as Vorbis.
I've started listening and it sounds interesting once he gets to the
details. The introduction is a little too focused on MS and gives a
little too much fuel to their fire by presenting the false dichotomy of
MOOX vs ODF.
So far MOOX is for all practical purposes not on the market. From what
I understand, the current situation is that the two players are China's
Uniform Office Format and OASIS' OpenDOcument Format. MOOX is still
undocumented hype.
We should push the fact that ODF and UOF are established and that MOOX
is a proprietary "mee too" from the Redmond folks.

Cool. Thanks for the tip.
By the way, do you have any contacts there that could put up a parallel
audio file in Ogg Vorbis? Promotion of open formats of any kind helps
us out.

No I am just a simple listener, I am not even registrer to the
GigaVox media. Also Dough Kay (founder of ITC) is open to
openformats but he already has put a lot of investement with Mp3
so don't expect a sudden change of heart.

I thought I gave you the contact on my response. Dough Kay is the
founder of ITC, he would be the guy to ask for Vorbis support.
