Eric, although Lars was not disrespecting the OS X porting team of OOo, I absolutely second your opinion. NeoOffice has, to put it mildly, not been nice with OpenOffice.org and is not being nice with us. Their choice of going with OpenXML is one out of many choices that seem to be contrary to what we aim for here. We should thus have a consistent marketing strategy related to the OSX port that * we, the community* are developing and that you are leading with talent and stop bothering about Neo, because it is a different product, a fork, with a different license, and an obviously hostile behaviour in regard of the OpenOffice.org project. OpenOffice.org for Mac, native or not native, does exist. It's called OpenOffice.org, not Neo.
But please Eric, stop thinking that everybody asking questions about Neo is an ennemy. :-) Lars, your idea about interoperability is nice, but given the relationship we have with Neo, suffice to say both software use ODF...
