Firefox's group on Facebook is sponsored, which means they pay Facebook (I don't know what it costs) to get extra features and functionality. Included in that, I think, is Flash content, and some other features.
Our Facebook group has been growing at a reasonable pace; we're more than 4 times larger than when I took it over (someone else started it and abandoned it, I don't know who that was, and that's why the capitalization in the group name is wrong: "OpenOffice.Org"). Even with a free group, though, we have some good features that we've been exploring. I am very open to suggestions on additions and improvements and can implement them very quickly when they come. We also need to promote the group on Facebook (especially with other FOSS-related groups you are a part of) and outside Facebook. Anyone can do this part easily! -Ben ---- OpenOffice and open source blog: http://www.solidoffice.com/ Wiki business directory: http://www.wikipages.com/ On Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at 10:37AM, "andylockran" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >Charles-H.
