FYI : as developer and volunteer, I asked for funding my expenses for
the FOSDEM 2009 (in return I propose to contribute for workshops or
whatever about development like last year), and so far, no answer. So
excepted if things change (in a very short delay), I won't attend. Was
the same story with FOSS.in, where my presentation was accepted (Rakesh
Pandit, attended, not me) :-/
Nobody ignores the education project and believe me i talked with Louis about these things before you have entered the boat. The education
project is one of the most important ones
Glad to read that. But I'd like to see acts, and help. So far, I see
more counterproductive actions than contributions.
and it is important that many people work and help on this project.
Ok, so let's go working for true with the Education Project ?
To the one interested, just joins the Education Project, subscribe the
[email protected] mailing list, and let's discuss what should
be Education relevant on Education Project mailing lists !
And of course, everybody is warmly welcome to become membership, and to
contribute constructively.
There is so much to do : e.g. help on the website, on the wiki, rewrite
lot of information .. zillions of other things.
As you can see that Sophie has already taken care of translation of the flyers.
Hmm, I don't remember to have seen Sophie contribute positively to the
Education Project since I'm there, and so far, the flyer has been made
without working with Education Project, as I said.
But I probably missed some links, and in this case, please tell me :-)
