Any coments on this beside the quotes?

I wondered what we knew about it - anyone from RedOffice care to contribute?

Well, I never managed the time to test Evermore Integrated Office so far, but on my list. They are offering trial versions at:

I do not know too much about them, as the available material is mostly Chinese. As the article said, they are located in Wuxi in China's Jiangsu province, which has the capital Nanjing. AFAIK, they are state owned enterprise with a strong backing from that side.

The product is a proprietary development and written in Java. Besides the desktop version, they also have a version for mobile phones, which they are shipping with several vendors in China. Indeed, AFAIk they are quite successful with this channel.

Last but not least, they seem to have a talent to get attention by the international press and Andy Updegrove mentioned them in his blog one or two years ago.

Best regards,
Peter

P.S.: BTW, I am on holiday for two weeks now. (luckily, I found this one before leaving.) Hence, further contributions to this discussion may take some time.
