Hi,
thanks to message sent by Andy to dev@jena [1] we get some hints about
the Google Summer of Code cycle that is about to begin again [2].
Basically the timeline is the following:
March 10: student application period starts
March 21: student application period ends
April 21: acceptances
Since it's expected to get ASF accepted as mentoring organization, we
could start to work on this. Being TLP we are allowed to have more than
one ideas, although the since one we proposed last year [3] did not have
so much acceptance between the potential students, probably we still had
a low level profile.
So I'd like to do it properly this year, and try to get the best out of
it. I'd prefer to discuss and refine the ideas here, and later file Jira
issues (tagged with gsoc2014).
So... any idea?
