that jar is not really ment for actual usage; don't know where it came from. 
Regardless of the name, it isn't actually a 1.0 release.

Please add Excalibur Fortress 1.0 to the repository.  It can be found at:

The jar file is excalibur-fortress-1.0.jar, which is inside the zip file.

There is already a excalibur-fortress-1.0.jar on ibiblio, but the one listed above is
more up-to-date.
