Hi, Do you think you could have a look at the announcement plugin? I think that tahnks to Fabrizio, it is now operational enough to be used to generate announcements.
To run it, simply type "maven announcement -Dmaven.announcement.version=<version for which you wish to generate an announcement>" By default the version is the currentVersion one from the POM. The only missing thing compared to our existing hand-coded announcement reports is the "tested with" feature. BTW, I'm still keen to get that information in the POM under a compatibility element (I tried some time ago but the proposal was not unanimously accepted - It was suggested to use the dependency feature which I still don't think is close enough to this requirement). Ok to remove announcement files? Any feature you'd like to see before removing them?
