It is fine for me. But does it mean that `.mvn` will always have nothing else than a `target` sub-directory? I understand that this is for allowing `.mvn/target` to be ignored without the need to change `.gitignore` configuration, but I find a little bit unfortunate to consume a directory level only for that. If there is plan to add some content other than `target` in the `.mvn` directory, then my remark can be forgotten.
