I saw this in a HEAD build with the integration tests profile of the maven-artifact-plugin on Mac OS openjdk 21.0.12 2026-07-21 OpenJDK Runtime Environment Homebrew (build 21.0.12) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM Homebrew (build 21.0.12, mixed mode, sharing) seems very reproducible, and I doubt the JDK or OS matters, but you never know. Probably some "upgrade" of something deep in the parent stack brought in this new behavior.
