Hi all
There is currently a discussion on the [email protected] list entitled "[httpclient] Jars in the repository". It revolves around if it's a good or bad idea to store jar-files under version control (SVN) and to best manage dependencies. The patch for MPANT-20 seems to solve their problems regarding such jar dependency issues. Three of the other fixed issues are related and also helps.
Would it be possible to make a relase of the Maven Ant Plugin 1.9? JIRA has 6 solved issues in 1.9 and 3 unscheduled open issues. The solved issues are:
MPANT-24 Ant build.xml looking for dependencies in several remote repositories
MPANT-23 Add License file to jar META-INF
MPANT-22 ant:mail error
- Cannot Reproduce
MPANT-21 get-deps target should download to local maven repo
MPANT-20 Allow URL substitutions in generated build.xml files
MPANT-9 ant plug-in does not support proxy environments
The open issues are:
MPANT-7 ant-plugin not obeying jar override - Seems to be fixed, but needs to be closed MPANT-19 Overwrites existing build.xml files without warning - Commented by Arnaud: "Actually I didn't find how to do it." MPANT-15 Merge generated tasks with custom tasks - No comments made. Seems quite tricky to do IMHO.
