Thanx Wendy...but doesn't really help...the exception I get depends on the JBoss version...with 4.0.1SP1 I get:
ERROR: invalid console appender config detected, console stream is looping Found this in the JBoss Forum: "Fixed it - my application was configuring log4j as well as Jboss. Removing my code fixes the issue."
