Sorry, I mistranslated my notes and missed the most important thing -
the POMs still contain references to 1.0.0-alpha-1-SNAPSHOT properties
as well.

As I said last week, I'd need more time to look at this in detail,
and would prefer we focus on the sandbox graduation first. Sorry I
haven't had more time to do so yet.
