Hi @ottobackwards , the PR description list of files changed and reasons is
_extremely_ helpful, indeed necessary. But the github PR GUI isn't really
tuned for handling 400 files even when -- or especially if -- most of the
changes are trivial, or are copies of files from some other context. So the
request for SHA1 reference points is a matter of anchor points for finding my
way, as it were. :-) Basically, for a submission like this, I will be able to
do more relevant git diffs than the github GUI does.
And, btw, it was not a veiled request to update merge yet again :-)
