Does it sound saner? :) In short: I don't think it is a good idea to think about something like Mina 3 if 2 is not in RC yet and Mina 1 is still there, too. From my personal perspective it will be a lot easier to update the existing milestone-depending code (to even better code) than maintaining different versions again and again.
