Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRMINA-1094:
--------------------------------------------

I don't know. What could be done is to check with a previous version of
Firefox, to see if this behavior happens (same thing with Chrome and Safari). I
would say that if the problem arise only with one Firefox version, it's likely
to be the culprit.

I have rapidly checked your code, and I don't see anything that jump into my
face as being responsible for the problem, but I haven't spent hours on it, to
be frank.

At this point, I would say we need to narrow the problem (removing Firefox as a
potential suspect) before going any further.

> Using Mina 2.0.19 in our WebSocket library, we are encountering wss
> connection failures following a repeatable pattern of nearly every other
> attempt when using Firefox 62 on macOS 10.13.6 (as well as other Mac
> versions). There also appears to be a measure of randomness since some (one
> in our group) Firefox users on Mac don't see the same results unless they
> throttle their network connection.
> Our websocket library source: [https://github.com/Red5/red5-websocket]
> See attached pcap files for an example of success and fail.
> If requested, we can expose one of our test servers for external debugging by
> your team.
