“Won’t Fix” implies there is something to fix and we’re intentionally not going to fix it. Some Issues are discussions but never come down to anything that can actually be fixed. Either that or so much time has passed that there is no way to know if it’s a real bug.
For poor quality reports I’ve been marking “incomplete”. The idea of “abandoned” is if someone else reports the same issue again there won’t be any confusion as to why the original issue was closed. “Auto close” serves a similar purpose of automatically closing tickets if there is no action but I’m not comfortable about manually making these issues as “auto close”.
